We started the festival in 2007 in order to give people the chance to see and hear both international and Swedish rock n roll artists here in Lycksele. Many people in the audience travel up to 300 miles to visit the Red Hot Festival.

We collaborate with local media, which means that the artists also receive good coverage when they perform here. We have already had many favourites, who have treated us to wonderful musical performances. Lycksele may be quite some distance from London or New York, but our listeners appreciate their festival and its performers.
